EIAB kauft Anwesen in Waldbröl

EUROPEAN INSTITUTE OF APPLIED BUDDHISM

Liebe Freundinnen, liebe Freunde

Was wird in Waldbröl gelehrt?

Thomas

Dear Friends,

The EIAB has been operating since the winter of 2007-2008, when participants in the first EIAB course received Certificates of Completion for the 90-day retreat held at the EIAB’s campus in Plum Village , France . The second course was offered at Kim Lien Complex in Hanoi, Vietnam; the third was the four-week Summer Retreat in French Campus, Plum Village; and most recently a six-day training was offered at the campus of Nottingham Universitym United Kingdo;.

Today we have the pleasure to inform you that our EIAB German Campus will open its doors for a first visit by the news media, to announce Thay’s joy in presenting 63 courses for training in applied Buddhism, an offering to this and future generations of young people:

Friday, September 12, 2008, at 12 noon

at the European Institute of Applied Buddhism

Schaumburgweg 3, Waldbröl, Nordrhein Westfalen , Germany

The nearest airport is Köln-Bonn. Waldbröl is approximately 70 km east of the airport, a 45-minute drive.

The 63 courses on applied Buddhism are the sweet fruits of the practice of Thay, our 82 year old teacher, ripened over his 67 years as a monk and his experiences of many years of war, dictatorship and the exodus of the boat people from his homeland.

You are warmly welcomed to attend. Please let us know if you will be coming, by sending an e-mail message to tthucquyen@yahoo.de.

Bhikshu Thich Chan Phap An

and

Dr. Thuc Quyen
